"To develop and strengthen volunteering in Far North Queensland for the mutual benefit of the individual and the community."

Established in 1999 in response to community needs, FNQ Volunteers Inc. is the lead agency for volunteering in the Far North Region. It contributes to the community development and social inclusion of the Far North Queensland region through the development and delivery of community and volunteer services. Our services include volunteer training and education, advocacy, support and volunteer referrals for a wide range of community, not-for-profit organisations throughout the region. Additionally, FNQ Volunteers leads the not for profit sector in raising the profile of volunteering to encourage an inclusive and healthy community and is now a well-respected, efficient and effective regional body for volunteering in Far North Queensland. |
