    Research Articles

Psychological Contracts in Volunteers 2009. Authors Rebecca Accadia & Arlene Walker, Deakin University.

This research aims to investigate the psychological contract of volunteers and to determine whether organisational outcomes associated with psychological contract breach for volunteers are similar to that established in the research literature for paid employees. The relationship between psychological contract breach and intention to remain with the volunteer organisation will be examined. The impact of three types of perceived support (organisational, supervisor, and co-worker) will be investigated, as will the influence of volunteer motives.
