Welcome to our training programme
FNQ Volunteers Inc. delivers non-accredited courses for community and the not-for-profit sector. Our training is delivered through a strenghts based framework. Community capacity buillding workshops are offered to provide opportunties for volunteers, staff and community members to build the capacity of their community, neighbourhood and organisation.
Sessions are aligned to the National Standards for involving volunteers in Not for Profit organisations, and best practice in working with and managing volunteers in a variety of settings. All of the courses can be provided in-house as a cost effective means for several people from the same organisation to benefit from our courses.
FNQ Volunteers Inc. Members and community organisations can share in the cost of delivering training in their own community by combining with other community groups to host a workshop. Organisations can also design a session from a selection of the learning outcomes covered in the Training Programme. All sessions are supported by workbooks, checklists, questionnaires and information sheets.

Marketing, Promotion and Fundraising Workshop |
The interactive format of the workshop facilitated by Ellen Barnes of FNQ Volunteers was both interesting and informative. All participants were given the opportunity to reflect and assess the strengths and weaknesses of their respective organisations. Ellen provided excellent advice and ideas, giving us a new direction and perspective on how to develop business and marketing plans. We gained unequivocal insights and a better understanding of how our group, is perceived by the wider community. This is the Third workshop I have attended, run by FNQ Volunteers and have found them all to be extremely beneficial. Thank you!

Good Governance Training |
I would like to express my thanks to your Training Manager, Ellen Barnes. Ellen showed she has fantastic knowledge of her subject and successfully imparted that knowledge to the attendees. The session fulfilled all my hopes, aspirations and outcomes increasing my knowledge base and confirming that the CSCI is functioning correctly.I have seen many, very eminent professionals that have knowledge to impart but fail to transfer it to their target audience. Please pass on my sincere thanks and regards.
