As the Chief Exectutive Officer of FNQ Volunteers Inc. Ellen oversees the development and delivery of training to build the capacity of the voluntary sector. With over 30 years experience in the community sector her qualifications include a Diploma in Community Services Management, Workplace Health and Safety Officer, ESL Tutor and qualified TAA Trainer and Assessor. Workshops and sessions facilitated by Ellen focus on governance, management and leadership.
Melinda Carter
Melinda as FNQ Volunteers Training Coordinator is a qualified MoneyMinded Facilitator and is currently completing her Bachelor of Business studies majoring in Human Resources & Accounting. With a background in office administration, bookkeeping and finance, Melinda facilitates workshops on Computers for the Beginner and Advanced Learners, MoneyMinded Financial & Budgeting Skills, Grant Writing, Volunteering..What's It all About and Event Planning.
Joanna Cray
Jo has over 15 years experience in Human Resources working in Melbourne, Brisbane and more recently Cairns. Her roles include Senior and HR Management positions in both the commonwealth government (17 years with CSIRO) and aged care sectors. She studied Business at University as a mature aged student. Her vast HR experience includes: managing complex international and local recruitments (and relocations), staff development, learning and development, performance management and staff recognition programs, redundancies, designing and implementing HR policies and procedures and involvement with EBA negotiations.
Jo's workshops include selection criteria assessment and reporting, participating on interview panels, reference checking, outplacement services, professional resume writing and training to job seekers and those re-entering the workforce.
Annabel Daunt Watney
Annabel has significant experience in staff training and parent programmes across NSW. Her professional career spans over 30 years working in a range of early childhood services in Australia and overseas. Originally trained as an Early Childhood Teacher she has worked directly in a variety of centre-based and outreach services as an Early Childhood Teacher, Centre Manager and Early Childhood Consultant with Macquarie University. Annabel facilitates workshops on Managing & Supervising Volunteers, Volunteering..What's It all About and Roles & Responsibilities of Management Committees. |
